Bauchi Youths frown on "Revolution Now" Group of Sowore Omoleye


The Bauchi State Chairman of National Youths Council of Nigeria,  Umar Lauya Hardawa has frowned on the non-identified members Of the western Countries sponsored group “Global Coalition for Security and Democracy in Nigeria” which are planning a “revolution” today  Monday 5th August, with the aim of bringing “regime change” in Nigeria without recourse to a nationwide vote.

Lauya said in statement "  The mobilization against the government called "Revolution now" is  a serious threat to the country's economy, therefore, the Youth of Bauchi State are not anymore interested In such kind of dishonest, disloyalty  And Respectless Attempts to destabilize our country. We are using this medium to inform the general Public especially Security agencies that, We are against the movement mentioned above".

He said Nigerian youths are civilized and cannot be deluded and brainwashed with ideas capable of causing tension and distructions in their father land.

"For the avoidance of doubt, Our Youths shall at all times remain ready to enter into any civilized and decent discussion with anyone In the country for whatever intent and purpose without succumbing to temptations of exposing innocent lives to unnecessary danger''.

Lauya lauded the Nigerian Police for quick action about the situation.

"I recommended the Nigerian Police for the following words "Parents and Guardians are therefore enjoined to impress on their children and wards not to allow themselves to be used in whatever form by any person or group of persons to cause breach of law and order in the country".

"Finally, We Call on General public to remain peaceful and stay away from other activities that go contrary with the Nigerian law and order.  We pray earnestly to almighty Allah,to give our youths, more courage to build the country uprightly and give us a better Nigeria'' Lauya added.
